Jillian Wexler Gives Back

Jillian Wexler, a member of the New Jersey Colonials Girls 16U Major team, helped host and participated with a Henrik Lundqvist Foundation Event,

Jillian Wexler, a member of the New Jersey Colonials Girls 16U Major team, helped host and participated with a Henrik Lundqvist Foundation Event, Young Ambassadors Kid’s Jam on Sunday, September 22, 2019 in New York City.Jillian helped raise $1,300 and the HLF event raised over $30,000 for the New York Presbyterian Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House and Garden of Dreams as part of Jam Kancer In The Kan Foundation (www.jamkancerinthekan.com).  This was a Kan Jam Frisbee event.   Besides being a host at the event, Jillian participated and won the event! She had the opportunity to spend the afternoon with Henrik Lundqvist, talk goaltending, girls ice hockey, and received a very cool trophy from him.  All while proudly wearing her New Jersey Colonials t shirt!Last year, Jillian applied and was accepted to be a Young Ambassador for the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation (http://www.hlundqvistfoundation.com) crerated by the New York Rangers goalie.  She has participated in several community service projects as part of her role as a young ambassador, including hosting a skating event at Princeton Day School that raised $3,000.

Jillian serves as a great model for the entire New Jersey Colonials community. Congratulations!
