The New Jersey Colonials have a special interest in the 2019 Women’s World Championships starting on April 4 in Espoo, Finland.
The New Jersey Colonials have a special interest in the 2019 Women’s World Championships starting on April 4 in Espoo, Finland. Our very own Girls Director, Shelly Picard will be patrolling the blue line as a member of Team USA. The Colonials wish Shelly and the entire US squad good luck!
Shelly is no stranger to the red, white and blue. She has represented the United States at numerous tournaments and events throughout her career: 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics; 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016 World Championships; 2010 and 2011 U-18 World Championships; 4-Nations Cup team member 5 straight years from 2010-2014.
Follow all the 2019 Women’s World Championship action through the USA HOCKEY and IIHF websites. The NHL Network will televise all Team USA games and the medal rounds.
