HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS 2023

NJC TEAMS GATHER TO SUPPORT PROJECT SAFE

The New Jersey Colonials once again teamed up to provide “Hope for the Holidays” for kids in the local community. The Girls 8U White, 10U Major, 12U Minor and 16U Major teams purchased wish list items for over 60 children in Project Safe, a program run by Cornerstone Family Program/ Neighborhood House, and then came together to wrap the gifts.  Project Safe is an after school program where children in the Morris County community receive academic reinforcement, recreational services and other vital family support.

The Neighborhood House, located in Morristown, provides preschool and other educational services to children in the Morris County area whose mission is, “Strengthening communities by helping people build better lives.  Cornerstone Family Programs and Morristown Neighborhood House provide resources to people from age 2 to 102 in the Greater Morris County area. Together we impact the lives of over 6,000 people. We believe that everyone deserves a chance for a happy, healthy and productive life.  In 2013, Cornerstone Family Programs and Morristown Neighborhood House joined forces with this shared mission of serving the community. Together, the two organizations have impacted the lives of over 30,000 residents.”

Thank you Colonials players for helping to make the holidays special for kids in our community!
