Daniel Yacey grew up in a small Canadian town outside Edmonton where he played youth hockey through U18.  He continued his career playing Junior A hockey in the BCHL and college hockey at Dartmouth College.

Coach Yacey now lives in Mountain Lakes with his wife Caitlin and three kids who all are in the Colonials hockey program.

Tyler Boyle grew up in Princeton, NJ where he played youth hockey through U18. After high school and youth hockey, he played in the ACHA at Lehigh University.

Coach Boyle now lives in Mountain Lakes with this wife Sara and two kids who are both in the NJC program.

Andrew Schonwetter has over nine years of coaching experience at varying levels of youth hockey. Coach Andrew’s philosophy is youth hockey is about fun and development. Sweaty heads and big smiles are the measurement of a successful session on the ice. As he returns for his second season with the NJ Colonials, Coach Andrew is looking forward to teaching the game and developing the clubs next generation of hockey players.

Coach Andrew now lives in Randolph with his wife Vilma and two boys who are both in the NJ Colonials program.

COREY KAPLAN

Corey Kaplan grew up playing for the New Jersey Colonials.  Corey then played at Roxbury HS where he graduated as one of the school's all-time leading scorers.  Thereafter, he played club hockey at Cornell University.

Coach Corey believes in focusing on player development and the importance of instilling the values of teamwork, sportsmanship and discipline in each player, with the goal of creating a fun and inclusive environment where every player feels valued and excited to come to the rink.

Coach Kaplan now lives in Chatham with his wife Stefanie and two boys who are both in the NJ Colonials program.
